This is Waikiki Beach. Best part of travelling so far west is that sunrise (and thus an empty beach) still feels like early afternoon. Which was a bit annoying when I woke before breakfast places opened, but it meant I could spend time on the beach nearly every morning before the conference just walking in the sand and it was beautiful.
